portable diaper caddy.

We were at our friends' house the other day, meeting their new baby girl, and they showed us this portable diaper caddy that they had. They said they keep one on each level of their two-story house and that it comes in very handy because all the supplies are right at hand when you need them. We have the changing station upstairs in the nursery, but I thought it would be nice to have one of these caddies downstairs for quick diaper changes. So here's an easy do-it-yourself project for all you mommies (or daddies) out there. Take an old basket like this one...

...and give it a fresh coat of spray paint and make a liner for it (I used a soft blue toile fabric). And voila!

looks rather boyish, Bets. You're gonna jinx my girl idea! Eav won't have a playmate!

What a great idea, Betsy! I love the little stuffed animal in the basket. I look forward to seeing the baby who will use the tiny diapers!

Carrie, Eav could play with a boy!! Lets still with the boy idea. But blue is really cool - boy or not.
